Weight & Metabolic Health

You have tried everything. Your body stopped listening.

The diets worked for a while. Then they stopped. Metabolism changes with age, life stage, and your unique biology. This is weight and metabolic care built on your bloods, your history, and your clinical picture.

Sound familiar?

These are the things women tell us at their first consultation.

Pattern match 0 / 7

If three or more of those hit home, a proper weight and metabolic consultation is worth a conversation.

The Clinical Picture

Why willpower was never the missing piece.

Weight regulation is biological, metabolic, and neurological. It is not a character flaw. For most women who struggle with persistent weight, the driver is biology, not behaviour.

01

Metabolism can change with age and life stage. That is not a failure of effort.

Perimenopause, post-pregnancy shifts, thyroid changes, and insulin resistance all alter how your body stores and releases energy. A diet that worked at 28 may not work at 42. It is biology doing what biology does.

02

A clinical plan can support the biology directly

When clinically appropriate, your clinician may discuss options that support appetite and metabolic regulation as part of a broader plan. These are not a shortcut. They are one clinical tool among several, and are only ever considered if deemed medically appropriate for you.

03

Restriction almost always backfires

Severe caloric restriction triggers your body's defence mechanisms: slowed metabolism, increased hunger signals, and reduced energy expenditure. That is why diets work short-term and rebound long-term. A sustainable plan works with your body, not against it.

Weight management is not about eating less. It is about understanding why the body is holding on, and addressing the biology so it does not have to.

Your clinician will assess your bloods, history, and symptoms before recommending anything. A plan may include nutrition, movement, metabolic review, and, if deemed medically appropriate, other clinical options. Not every woman needs medication, and that is a perfectly valid outcome too.

Every plan starts with a real-time telehealth consultation with a clinician. The online assessment simply helps us prepare. It is never a substitute for the consult, and it does not diagnose you or guarantee any particular outcome.

There are clinical thresholds for certain options, and we follow them. But BMI is not the whole picture. Conditions like PCOS, insulin resistance, or hypertension can change suitability. Your clinician reviews your full profile before making any recommendation.

Yes, and we encourage it. With your consent, share your care team's details during your consult and we will coordinate. Our plans are designed to complement the care you already have, not replace it.

Correct. Telehealth is not suitable for all weight and metabolic concerns. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, GP review, specialist referral, further investigation, or no treatment depending on your circumstances.

Individual results vary based on your unique biology and commitment to the program. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations at your consultation and adjust your plan as you go.
